California Government Code section 8211 sets a maximum of $15 for each signature taken for a common acknowledgment and $15 for administering an oath or affirmation and executing a jurat.

Why is there a separate travel fee?
California sets maximum fees for common notarial acts, but mobile travel, time, parking, after-hours availability, and facility access are separate convenience services. We disclose and agree on those charges before booking.
What details do you need for a quote?
Send the meeting address, preferred date and time, number of signers, number of signatures requiring notarization, and any facility, witness, scanback, or printing requirements.
Are loan signing prices different?
Loan packages are quoted as signing assignments because printing, package size, scanbacks, timing, and return instructions vary. The fee is confirmed before acceptance.
Do you charge for a signer who cannot complete the appointment?
A travel or appointment fee may still apply when the notary travels but the signing cannot proceed because of missing identification, signer unavailability, incomplete documents, or another condition outside the notary’s control. We explain the applicable terms before booking.
