What a mobile notary does at your appointment
A mobile notary performs the same identity, willingness, awareness, and certificate steps as a notary at a fixed office—the meeting simply happens at a location that works for you. The notary reviews acceptable identification, watches any signature that must be made in the notary’s presence, administers an oath when required, completes the certificate, and records the act as California law requires.
The notary is an impartial witness, not a document advisor. We cannot tell you whether the document achieves your goal or select the certificate. If the document does not already state the required act, ask the receiving party or a qualified attorney before the appointment.
How to get a faster, more accurate quote
Send the meeting city and address, preferred time, number of signers, document type, and number of signatures requiring notarization. Mention parking, gated access, facility check-in, witnesses, or a strict return deadline. Those details determine route availability and the mobile convenience fee; the notarial fee is itemized separately.
Every signer should appear with a complete, unsigned document and current government-issued photo identification. If a signer lacks standard ID, contact us before booking so we can discuss whether another California identification method may be available. Do not send copies of IDs or private documents through the website.
Choose a meeting place that supports the notarization
A suitable meeting place has enough light and table space to review identification, keep documents organized, complete the journal entry, and sign without interruption. Homes and offices usually work well; a public meeting place should still offer reasonable privacy and safety. Tell us before booking if the address has a gate, security desk, parking charge, difficult access, or limited seating.
Mobile availability is based on the full route, not only the city name. A same-day request is easier to fit when you send the complete information in one message and keep the requested window flexible. An appointment is not confirmed until the team accepts the time, address, scope, and expected price.

Frequently asked questions
How is a mobile appointment priced?
The total normally includes the state-regulated notarial fee plus a separately agreed travel or convenience fee. We confirm the expected total before the appointment.
Can several people sign at one appointment?
Yes. Tell us the number of signers, signatures requiring notarization, and the meeting address so we can quote accurately and allow enough time.
